Triclops, like Merman, was another figure where the original paintjob was close to acceptable, but still a far cry from what I was hoping to see. I liked the color of the sword that came with the figure, and thought it would be pretty cool if the same color could be used to make Triclops look like he was wearing real armor instead of bright green latex.

You'll notice a good deal of blood drizzling down from the figure's visor. My take is that Skeletor built Triclops into the cyborg he is now, but wasn't particularly careful about giving his subject an augmentation he could live with. I imagine Triclops does a good deal of bleeding, what with having had the top of his noggin lopped off, and suffers unimagineably every single day of his life.

He spends most days praying for death. :)
